If anyone is wondering how it’s possible to travel the world on a small budget, let me tell you about a thing called workaway. This app allows you to apply for volunteer jobs that put you up in accommodation and give you meals for some hours of work.
I am currently in Punta Arenas at a berry farm. I am staying in a house with five other volunteers, where I get breakfast, lunch and accommodation provided. I pick berries for five hours in the morning and then have the rest of the day off to explore the place I am. I also get 2 days off every week so I can spend some more time relaxing.

I must say this is a new experience but it’s so cool to meet other volunteers who are on similar journeys. It is the easiest way to save money and meet locals in any place. You’d be surprised on where you can find workaways including Saskatchewan, Canada.
Now I am off to eat a container of fresh picked raspberries and enjoy the nature of the area.
